The courtship between my grandparents took place largely in letters. From 1929 until they married in 1933, Mary Potter and Jim Kunkler wrote letters to one another every day they were not together. Sometimes twice a day. Their social media consisted of stationary, a fountain pen and a two cent postage stamp. Their correspondence has been read by only two people. Until now.
The Letterbox Project is a journey through the bundles of letters that record their life and their love. Every envelope holds a story and a little bit of history. Theirs and ours.

I absolutely LOVE this! Now I am inspired to go through some boxes that I have of my grandparents!
Thank you for sharing this journey.
